Seller guide

Sell a used outboard motor without listing it yourself.

A used outboard can still have value whether it is a clean take-off, an older engine, a rough project, or a motor that has been sitting. Send the details once and we will review whether it is a fit.

What to know first

  • Running, damaged, non-running, and parts engines are considered
  • Photos help us review condition faster
  • Pickup or freight is handled case-by-case

What makes a used motor worth submitting

Brand, horsepower, model year, running condition, and completeness all matter. A clean running engine is the easiest to evaluate, but older or imperfect motors can still be useful if the major components are present.

Photos matter more than a perfect description

Include both sides of the motor, the cowling, lower unit, prop, controls if available, and any visible damage. A model or serial tag photo is especially useful because it helps confirm the exact motor.

You do not need to handle buyer traffic

The goal is to skip marketplace listings, repeat questions, and no-shows. We review the submission and respond with next steps or an offer if the motor is a fit.

Common questions

Can I submit a used outboard that has been sitting?

Yes. Tell us how long it has been sitting, whether it turns over, and what parts are included. Photos of the motor and tag help us review it.

Do you only buy running used outboards?

No. Running motors, damaged motors, non-running motors, and complete parts engines are all worth submitting.

Do I have to remove the motor before submitting it?

No. Start with photos and details. Removal, pickup, freight, and next steps are handled after review.
